Brooke and Christian

Last week, I went to Jacksonville to visit my sister, Amy, and her kids Brooke and Christian.  I might be a little biased since they are my niece and nephew, but they are just the cutest kids in the world!  My cousin, Kristi, went down with me and we had a good few days getting to hang out with Amy, Shawn, and the kids.  We went to the Jacksonville Zoo for the afternoon and the kids played in the water play area for a while.  Here are few cute pictures of the kids playing in the water.  :)

Kristi and Russ wedding

This weekend, my cousin Kristi got married at the Banquet Hall of Alvaton! It was such a wonderful day for a wedding, although hot; but I'm not here to complain about how it was. I was so thankful to be apart of the wedding in such a special way. I can definitely say that this was the first time as a photographer, I was crying during the ceremony. I could not be happier for Kristi that she finally married someone as wonderful as Russ. I am so happy for the two of them. Russ' groom's cake!!  Gotta love dirt cake!  There were different pots of dirt cake on the table.  This is the one Kristi ad Russ ate from for the cake.
Russ decided he wanted to wear his Chaco's during the reception. As I was wearing my own during the wedding, I totally encouraged it!  :)
